After seeing chairs everywhere going to waste, we saw this as an opportunity to give back to the community. The idea - to bring together the architecture and design community, challenge them to reinvent a chair and then auction it off to support the local organizations that are creating positive change. We named it, Chairity.

Since 2017, Chairity has raised over $109,035 for our local community partners who are dedicated to change.

Thank you to everyone who has donated and participated.

Meet the Judges

We are pleased to announce our judges for Chairity 2019. Though they have diverse backgrounds, they each have one thing in common: making beautiful things. We know they will bring a unique perspective to this year's competition.

About Chairity

Dedicated to change.

Chairity is an annual event hosted by Two where creative volunteers auction off their designs in order to raise money for our community.

The rules are simple: take a used or forgotten chair and give it a new life. Participants can deconstruct, re-upholster, and reinvent their “chair” using whatever means available to them. On October 10th 2019, anyone can take one of these new designs home with them by bidding online or during our live auction. All our proceeds go toward local non-profit organizations, Project Color Corps and Larkin Street Youth Services
